Walt Disney's Version of Pinocchio Limited Edition #63/100 Pre-Release Book (Walt Disney/Random House, 1939). The Walt Disney studio released a spiral-bound book a full year before Pinocchio was released. The book records the development of the film's characters and basic story. It includes the typed continuity outline, copies of the beautiful original story boards, copies of model sheets, and even photos of studio maquettes! Only 100 copies were made for US distribution, and this is #63. This hard-to-find spiral-bound fabric-covered hardcover book was published by Random House in 1939. The book measures about 10" x 12.25", and it is filled with incredible behind-the-scene looks at the creation of this beloved Walt Disney feature film which is often heralded as one of the finest animated films ever produced. The book is in Good condition, with some staining and wear on the cover. The pages are well-preserved, with only some handling and edge wear.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Pinocchio.
