Description

Giantland Mickey Mouse and Rumplewatt the Giant Animation Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1933). "Well, once upon a time, I found a GREAT BIG beanstalk!" Mickey Mouse tells the children his own version of "Jack and The Beanstalk" in this set of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings from this Burt Gillett-directed short, first shown on 11/25/1933. Two are of Rumplewatt the Giant after getting a snoot full of pepper, delivered by Mickey. The first of these graphite with green, yellow, and red pencil drawings is noted as 21A in the upper right corner, approximate image size of 6" x 4.5" from around the 6:19 timestamp while the second drawing, marked 44A appears at 6:21 with an image size of 7.25" x 5.5". Mickey's drawings are from the scene where Mickey had been hiding in the giant's cheese sandwich and is now inside Rumplewatt's mouth; at the 4:08 timestamp comes drawing #126, in graphite with an image size of 3" x 2". Drawing #225 has Mickey dodging peas rolling down the giant's tongue, at 4:12, with an image size of 3" x 3.5". The drawings are in Very Good condition with minor handling wear and slight age-related paper toning.
