Description
Astrocat & MouseTom and Jerry Story Book Interior Pages Original Art Group of 12 (MGM/Peter Pan Industries, 1985). Tom Cat becomes an astronaut for NASA and heads for outer space (with Jerry Mouse tagging along), in this splendid children's book, published by Peter Pan Records and illustrated by Kirby Martin Associates. Beverly Kirby Martin was art director for this company, and most likely was the artist here. This group includes all 24 interior pages for the book, done 2-up on 14.5" x 7.75" Bristol board with acetate overlays for the text. Each two-page spread has been mounted with overlays to 16.5" x 10" illustration boards, which include all registration marks. The art is just wonderful, done in ink and gouache. Some of the overlays are coming loose. Art condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.More information about Peter Pan/Power Records artist.
