Description
Astrocat & Mouse Tom and Jerry Story Book Cover Original Art (MGM/Peter Pan Industries, 1985). Looks like Tom is about to take a trip to outer space courtesy of NASA, in this original cover art to a coloring book. This cat and mouse team has been delighting kids and adults both since their debut in a 1940 cartoon directed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. This art is in ink and watercolor with airbrushed highlights on Bristol board, which has been mounted to a sheet of illustration board measuring 20" x 13". The wrap-around cover image area measures approximately 16.5" x 8.25". An acetate overlay includes all the type and logos, and a paper overlay on top shows logo colors.
