"Toon Town 2000" Multi-Character Production Cels and Signed Fine Art Print Display (c. 1960s-90s). In a jaw-dropping collection that is custom framed and matted, here are 14 brilliant works of art showcasing major characters through animation history. In addition, they are accompanied by 11 signatures of legendary animators and artists. An unbelievable set, the pieces displayed here include 13 hand-painted original production cels from various cartoons and commercials and one signed Fine Art print. The cels feature Donald Duck, Felix the Cat, Garfield and Odie, Mr. Magoo, Goofy, Uncle Scrooge, Atom Ant, Pink Panther, Homer Simpson, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Dilbert and Dogbert, and the Trix Rabbit. The Fine Art print features Daffy Duck with an edition number of 314/750, signed by Chuck Jones. In addition to this signature, the mat within the frame contains the signatures of several great artists including Disney Legend Inductees Frank Thomas, Marc Davis and Ollie Johnston. Three of Disney's "Nine Old Men!" The other signatures are from Garfield creator Jim Davis, Fleischer Studios animator Myron Waldman, The Simpsons director Wes Archer, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera of Hanna-Barbera Productions fame, son of Felix the Cat artist Don Oriolo, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman. The cels are displayed over hand-drawn custom backgrounds, and the custom mat also contains custom color pencil art. The cels are trimmed to fit the display, and otherwise show little handling wear. The piece is framed under Plexiglas and measures 43" x 22", and the frame size is 46" x 26". The overall condition is Very Good. The frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
