Description
A Day at the Zoo Children's Storybook Complete Interior Pages Original Art (Samuel Lowe, 1966). Stylized artwork for a sixteen-page storybook by Joel Dolens, with art designed to use with pasted-on "Blinky" eyes. This was a "tall format" book, with pages measuring approximately 5.5" x 11.75". Each two-page spread makes one image, with art of young children on the left, and a zoo animal on the right. All animals have spaces left for the paste-on eyes (which would be fairly easy to replace). Art is in gouache on illustration board, with last/first and centerspread pages on one 13" x 15" board, and remaining pages half that size. Very Good condition with minor handling wear.More information about Otto Schulz Artist.
