Description
Roger Armstrong - Napoleon and Uncle Elby Daily Comic Strip Original Print, Group of 3 (LaFave Newspaper Features, 1952-59). Roger Armstrong joined the ranks of Disney artists, developing a career as a cartoonist that would earn him a national reputation. For several decades his drew comic strips for newspapers and comic books, among them Scamp, Little Lulu, and Napoleon and Uncle Elby. Here are three "artist's proof" prints featuring three Napoleon strips, dated 7-4-52, 0-20-52, and 6-20-59, all signed and inscribed by Roger Armstrong in pencil along the bottom. Some slight aging is apparent; otherwise the strips are in Excellent condition.Auction Info
