Description
Disneyland "The Plausible Impossible" Mickey Mouse Baseball Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1956). This wonderful cel is from the classic segment of the TV show Walt Disney's Disneyland detailing the art of animation, which aired on October 31, 1956, in which Mickey Mouse demonstrated some unusual techniques. This is a 16-field, hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Mickey Mouse as a baseball pitcher. Mickey measures 5.25" x 4.75", and his cel is set atop a color print background for presentation. This great full-figure image of Mickey in his baseball uniform can be found at about the 7:34 mark of this episode, entitled "The Plausible Impossible." The cel is marked 21 in its lower right corner and it is in Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, as well as some minor age-related warping. There are also some remnants of paper paper adhered to the back of the cel which is not visible from the front.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
