Description

Walt Disney World - EPCOT Logo Park-Displayed Opening Sign (Walt Disney, 1982). EPCOT's emblematic logo takes centerstage with this remarkably rare park-displayed sign from the park's grand opening. Designed by the legendary Norm Inouye, the logo showcases five joined rings, each representing information, technology, environment, education, and entertainment, with a sixth one representing Earth in the center. Created around the date of the park's debut on October 1, 1982 (over 40 years ago!), this stupendous metal sign features a remarkable diameter of 24" with the elegant design occupying the center, measuring approximately 20.5" in diameter. Light surface scratches and scuffing can be seen on the sing's surface with minor handling edge wear from park display. In Very Good condition.
