Gunsmith Cats Opening Title Sequence Minnie-May Hopkins and Rally Vincent Production Cel with Production Background (OLM, 1995). If you pause the exciting opening of Gunsmith Cats at the 1:25 mark, you will be able to see this marvelous image of the bounty hunter duo, Minnie-May Hopkins and Rally Vincent. The series is based on the manga by the same name, created by Kenichi Sonoda, whose name is attached to titles like Wanna-Be's, Bubblegum Crisis, and Otaku No Video, to name a few. Takeshi Mori directed the three-episode OVA series that brought us new adventures for the pair of crime fighters. This rare black and white picture of the beloved characters features a great image size of 8.5" x 7.5" on the 12 field sized hand-painted production cel, numbered C12 in the top right corner. The cel is presented on a dynamic production background rendered in gouache on background board that adds a fantastic sense of motion to the kinetic piece. The scarcity of opening sequence cels makes this production cel an amazing collector's piece! The background shows light creasing on the corners, and the cel has very light handling wear from production use.
