Description
The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" Homer, Marge, Bart, Maggie, and Kang Production Cel (Fox, 1990). This is a superb production cel from the first installment in the "Treehouse of Horror" series. The setup features Homer, Marge, Bart, and Maggie with one of the aliens, Kang. Voiced by Harry Shearer, Kang is a Rigellian from Rigel 7 who appears in the "Treehouse of Horror" series along with his sister Kodos. The first "Treehouse of Horror" consisted of three parts, and it originally aired on October 25, 1990. This production cel is from the second part, "Hungry are the Damned", directed by Rich Moore and written by Jay Kogen and Wallace Wolodarsky. In "Hungry are the Damned", the family is abducted by aliens Kang and Kodos and are fattened up to the extent Lisa questions their motives. This exceedingly rare production cel is hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a background copy/print. The setup is framed to 18.5" x 15.25" with a matboard aperture of 12" x 8.5". The cel come with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by 20th Century Fox. Artwork is in Fine condition. Frame sold as-is.More information about 20th Century Fox Artist.
