Description

Disneyland - Mark Twain Riverboat Park-Displayed Last Cruise of the Day Sign (Walt Disney, c. 2010s). This is a gorgeous sign used at Disneyland to announce the time for the last cruise of the day aboard the distinguished Mark Twain Riverboat. Originally named Mark Twain Steamboat when the park opened in 1955, the stately, 5/8-scale Mississippi stern-wheeler was the first functional riverboat to be built in the United States for 50 years. The Steamboat departs every 25 minutes on a scenic, 12-minute journey around the Rivers of America. The waiting area is made to resemble a real riverboat loading area, with cargo deliveries sharing space on the dock. This sign was posted in the loading area and features a small graphic of the Mark Twain, the sign announced the final departure time of 5:30pm. It was designed to hang on a stanchion pole, and measures approximately 16" x 24". It is in Very Good condition with some surface wear from use.
