This magnificently crafted sign was placed near the area where the Sailing Ship Columbia would be docked with its lower decks occassionally open for exhibit. The ship's construction plans were created by architect Ray Wallace and commissioned by the former naval admiral Joe Fowler, the Disneyland construction supervisor renown for spearheading the construction of the Mark Twain Riverboat in 1957. The metal brackets present rust and wear from use. In Good condition.
