Description
Chariots of Fur Production Cels Signed by Chuck Jones and Maurice Noble (Warner Brothers, 1994). Presented are three rare production cels from the Chuck Jones-directed short, "Chariots of Fur". Road Runner, aka Boulevardius burnupius, and Wile E. Coyote, aka Dogius ignoramii, are seen in these three "spring-loaded" production cels when the Road Runner pulls up behind the Coyote and beeps him into another headache! These 12 field production cels are hand-painted and paired with background copy/prints. Two of the cels are signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) and one is signed by Maurice Noble (1911 - 2001). Noble was a background artist, director, and layout designer. His contributions to the animation industry spanned more than sixty years! He is best known for his work with Chuck Jones for Looney Tunes, particularly on the Road Runner series. The three production cels are in one three-aperture frame of 17.5" x 46.75" with a matboard openings of 9" x 12". The cels come with COAs issued by Linda Jones. Frame sold as-is.
