Description
The Bugs Bunny Show Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, c. 1960s-1980s). "This is it - the night of nights!" Probably the most recognizable of all Looney Tunes characters to ever be created, the ageless, perennially-entertaining Bugs Bunny takes the stage in this spectacular original, hand-inked, hand-painted production cel. This cel was created for a bridging sequence in The Bugs Bunny Show, short segments specially animated to connect pre-existing cartoons for their primetime TV airings. The cel showcases a marvelous full-figure image of the iconic gray "wabbit", next to the coat he is hanging up beside him. The piece also features a rare Warner Brothers Pictures copyright on its lower edge. The 12 field cel features a painted image area of about 5.25" x 6.25", and it is numbered in its lower right corner with 39. This terrific and rare piece of Bugs Bunny production art is in Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear. The copyright has toning from age, and there are a few dents and creases in the acetate of the cel.Auction Info
