Disneyana Convention Exclusive Donald Duck "Sheriff of Bullet Valley" SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Bronze Statue #15/200 Signed by Carl Barks and Allison Vought (Walt Disney, 1995). "Stick 'em up Blacksnake!" Brave Sheriff Donald stands ready to take on a hail of bullets as "The Sheriff of Bullet Valley", a namesake tribute to the classic Dell Four Color Donald Duck #199, and limited-edition bronze released through The Official Disneyana Convention! "The Sheriff of Bullet Valley" was a comical send-up of beloved western films, following Donald applying as Sheriff, and investigating cattle thefts, only to confront the deadly Blacksnake McSquirt. Decades later Barks' memorable cover art was brought to life, sculpted by Allison Vought and crafted by Parks Bronze Foundry, for "The Sheriff of Bullet Valley" Bronze Sculpture, a limited edition of 200, released exclusively through The 1995 Official Disneyana Convention. Donald Duck proudly displays his shiny sheriff star during the climactic showdown, in an impressive bronze accented with lustrous metallic and silver-toned finishes. The entire scene is respectfully presented mounted atop a polished marble slab. To elevate the value of the collectible, the marble base of is outstandingly signed in gold-toned ink by the team of "Good Duck Artist" Carl Barks and acclaimed sculptor Allison Vought. Standing 14" tall and weighing a hefty 16lbs., this impressive collectible carries the low number 15/200, is in Very Good condition, exhibiting few small spots of oxidation and otherwise few signs of wear, and stands as the ultimate conversation piece about Carl Barks and his most memorable Donald Duck tale!Auction Info
