Description
The Little Mermaid Sebastian, Flounder, and Skuttle Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). The Little Mermaid tells the story of a young mermaid named Ariel who wants to be part of the world above the surface. When she falls in love with a human prince, she makes a deal with a villainous sea witch to become human herself, and she must earn the prince's love before the agreed time runs out. Presented in this lot is a superb production cel featuring Ariel's closest friends, Sebastian, Flounder, and Skuttle. The trio helps Ariel as she attempts to stay human, regain her voice, and marry a prince. All they have to do is get him to "Kiss the Girl." This is an impressive image - and a big one - with the characters each measuring 4", 5", and 6" respectively. Hand-painted on 16 field acetate. This was the last Disney feature film to be traditionally animated, making production cels from this film highly prized by collectors. Framed to 24.5" x 19" with an aperture of 15.25" x 10". Frame is sold as-is. COA included. Cel appears to be in Very Good condition, with minor handling.Auction Info
