Description
Lee Elias Firehair Comics Splash Page Original Art (Fiction House Publ., 1948). Elias' star as a fan-favorite was just ascending when he built this sockeroo of an original splash -- collage-style -- for an encore of his Firehair origin story from Rangers Comics #21. The page, though wholly original, is fashioned from various drawings, pasted together. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with white retouching and many glue-stained seams. Conspicuous age-toning and extensive blue-pencil color-key marks. Image area, 12.25" x 18". Fair condition.More information about Lee Elias.
