John Buscema and Charles Vess Conan the Destroyer #2 Story Page 14 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1984-85). Produced as part of a movie tie-in, this page advances the screen-story of filmmaker Richard Fleischer's Conan the Destroyer (DeLaurentiis Co.; 1984). Vess' minimalistic job of inking allows Buscema's bold compositions and intense facial studies to shine through. Signed by Vess at lower right. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Moderate toning, adhesive staining, docked corners, and two missing dialogue balloons. Remaining balloons show darker toning.
