Super Dimension Fortress Macross SDF-1 Macross, CVS-101 Prometheus, and SLV-111 Daedalus 11.75" x 8.25" Storyboard/Concept Art by Shoji Kawamori (Tatsunoko Production, 1982). From the hand of the co-creator and mechanical designer of the influential anime series Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Shouji Kawamori, we present in this lot an absolutely ravishing storyboard/concept art that will impress Macross fans everywhere! Rendered in mixed media on a 11.75" x 8.25" board, this amazing piece has the titular SDF-1 Macross with planet Earth behind it, accompanied by the attack aircraft carrier CVS-101 Prometheus and the assault landing vessel SLV-111 Daedalus, the space ships that form the left and right arm of the Macross in its Attack Mode. Signed and dated by the artist in the bottom right corner, this incredible piece showcases the distinguished style of Shoji Kawamori, who manages to convey the intricate mechanical design elegantly and with great dynamism.
