In the deep underground facility below NERV headquarters known as Central Dogma, Rei Ayanami mysteriously floats in a tank of LCL, the primordial soup of life. A cryptic moment seen at the 20:20 mark of the episode "Lies and Silence," this is a fantastic hand-painted original production cel from the lauded and groundbreaking Neon Genesis Evangelion. A beautifully eye-catching, monochromatic piece, this cel is displayed on its rare original Key Master background rendered in gouache on background board. A must-have image of the enigmatic fan-favorite character, this highly coveted piece is accompanied by an official JAMAC Certificate of Authenticity. The 12 field setup shows minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use. The cel is numbered B1, and the background bears the hand-written notation 15.
