Neon Genesis Evangelion "Seele, the Seat of the Soul" Asuka and Misato Production Cel (Gainax, c. 1995-96). "About the interoperability test they're doing... Shouldn't I be tested, too?" "I thought you didn't want to pilot any other Eva, Asuka." "Well, I guess you have a point." Appealing to Asuka's fragile ego, Misato hides the real truth during a pilot/Eva cross-compatibility test. Seen at the 15:30 mark of the Neon Genesis Evangelion episode "Seele, the Seat of the Soul," this is a fantastic hand-painted original production cel featuring Asuka as she chats over coms with Misato. Composed of two cels on a printed background for presentation purposes, the piece is accompanied by two bonus cels featuring mouth animation for Misato. In addition, the lot includes an extra printed background with a small fold in the lower right corner. The four 12 field cels show minor studio handling and edge wear with light paint debris, and the condition is Very Good.
