Description
Fist of the North Star "Villains Need No Graves! This is the Hellish Cassandra!!" Kenshiro and Guards Production Cel Setup with Production Background (Toei Animation, 1985). "Did you dig a wide grave?" The immediately recognizable protagonist of the anime Fist of the North Star, Kenshiro, makes a star appearance in this lot with a hand-painted production cel from the 40th episode of the series "Villains Need No Graves! This is the Hellish Cassandra!!" This 12-field two-layer production cel features our protagonist with two guards behind him, all occupying an overall image size of 9.75" x 7.5", appearing at the 5:37 mark of the episode. The cel is shown on a production background, rendering a wall in gouache on a trimmed 12-field background board. Some fading can be seen on the linework. The cel layers have adhered together and are glued by the top corners. The background is trimmed and shows staple holes near the top edge, with the bottom layer of the cel adhered to it. Presenting mild handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
