Description

Victory Through Airpower Storyboard Artwork Group of 6 (Walt Disney, 1943). The Walt Disney Studios did a lot for the war effort in World War II including producing training films, promoting the sale of War Bond-themed films, and the feature-length animated propaganda film Victory Through Airpower. They even won an Academy Award® with a Donald Duck war-themed short Der Fuehrer's Face. These are original artworks from one of Disney's many war productions and possibly from Victory Through Airpower. They are detailed paintings in gouache on 8" x 9" 5-peghole storyboard panels with dialogue and descriptions under four of the boards. They're incredibly high-quality examples of the studio's artistic efforts during the war. The six storyboards are matted in two triple-aperture matboards of 32" x 12". Very Good condition.
