Description
Disneyland - Peter Pan's Flight Rare Park Attraction Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1959-1980s). This classic Fantasyland poster for the Peter Pan, Snow White, and Mr. Toad park attractions was designed by Bjorn Aronson, and has been a favorite with Disney collectors for years. This example is very close to the original version that was used when the park opened in 1955; the only real difference is that the Walt Disney Productions copyright notice is in the lower left corner instead of the lower right. Posters for Disney parks in Tokyo and Paris used very similar designed posters, in 1983 and 1990, according to the book Poster Art of the Disney Parks by Danny Handke and Vanessa Hunt on page 70. The poster is silkscreened on paper and measures approximately 36" x 54". It has been dry mounted to foam core. The poster exhibits wrinkling throughout as well as scratches, scuffs and edge wear. A scratch near the front of the Jolly Roger is heavier that the other scratches. Overall, condition is Poor to Fair. It comes framed to 36.5" x 55". All frames are sold as-is.
