Description
Æon Flux "Gravity" Aeon Flux Production Cel (MTV Animation, 1992). A magnificent close-up to the titular protagonist of Æon Flux is offered in this lot that features a hand-painted production cel, signed by series creator Peter Chung, from "Gravity." This suspenseful episode had Aeon slipping from an aircraft while on a mission. While thinking of shooting herself before falling to her death, our protagonist spots two agents getting out of a mysterious vehicle to retrieve something from a cliff and decides to wait until she can see what it is they're recovering. This gigantic portrait of Aeon with the gun barrel on her forehead measures an incredible image size of 9.5" x 10" on the cel, comprised of layers from different frames of the 1:53 timestamp, signed on the bottom right area. The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, taped to it with archival artist tape. Mild handling and edge wear from production can be seen on the lot.
