During the early-90s comic boom, driven by back-to-back successes from Marvel with Spider-Man #1 and X-Men #1, everyone was looking for a slice of the superhero universe pie! Enter Malibu Comics' Ultraverse, a brand-new line of superhero comics launching in the summer of 1993. This incredible lot features the debut of many of the companies heroes and includes Hardcase #1 (14 copies - 4 copies signed by writer James Hudnall) Prime #1 (9 copies - all copies have trading cards), 2 (4 copies); The Strangers #1 (9 copies); Freex #1 (11 copies - all copies have coupons and trading cards); Wizard: The Guide to Comics #23 (in polybag with trading card); and The Malibu Sun #26.
