Arthur Rackham Illustration Original Art (1897) Arthur Rackham is best known for his work during the Golden Age of British book illustration. This particular pre-20th century washed portrait of a violinist is from the early part of his career, pre-dating many of his better-known fairy tale works. Created in ink, white paint, and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6" x 9" with an overall glass front frame size of 15" x 19". Signed and dated by Arthur Rackham in the image area. In Excellent condition.
