Showcase #43 Doctor No (DC, 1963) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. This comic book adaptation of the first James Bond movie was also the first US comic book appearance of James Bond. DC's first Silver Age movie adaptation, it is actually a reprint of the story originally published in British Classics Illustrated #158A. Overstreet notes, "This Showcase #43 version was actually censored, deleting all racial skin color and dialogue thought to be racially demeaning." Sean Connery photo frontispiece. Bob Brown cover.
