Description

Batman Ride-On Spring-Wound Batmobile (Marx Toys, 1966). "Holy-vintage toys, Batman!" Here's a rare ride-on, spring-wound Batmobile, manufactured by Marx Toys back in 1966. Marx made four different "Batmobiles" and this was the most detailed of the bunch by far. The car measures approximately 37" in length, is made of yellow, red, and black plastic, and metal, and has decals applied for aesthetics. The car was obviously used, but loved and shows some standard wear, scratches, and light peeling at the edges of the stickers. There is some oxidation on the metal pieces and wear to the silver paint on the dashboard and hubcaps. One headlight sticker is missing. The trunk opens, the steering wheel turns the wheels, and the spring mechanism appears to be in working order. In Very Good condition. From the Ben Novack, Jr. Estate Collection.
