Highlights include the "death" of Alfred Pennyworth; the first appearances of Cat-Man, Block Buster, Batgirl, Man-Bat, Talia al Ghul, the League of Assassins, and Jason Bard; key early Martian Manhunter stories; the first appearance of the TV series-inspired version of the Batmobile; and the first Batgirl/Robin team-ups.
