Description

Prize Comics #4 Larson pedigree (Prize, 1940) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages. Golden Age robot covers are always fun! Providing opposition on this one is a he-man by the name of Power Nelson (a Flash Gordon-esque character). Among the artists is one Richard Norman, a name we know to be a pseudonym for Dick Briefer. Our offering is the Lamont Larson copy, and it's got the cover colors and page quality that characterize that famed collection. While this issue isn't called rare by Gerber or Overstreet, we had never seen a copy before today, and this is also the first one CGC has certified, so if you're looking for a #4, we recommend that you grab it. Overstreet 2004 VF 8.0 value = $575; VF/NM 9.0 value = $863. CGC census 1/05: 1 in 8.5, none higher.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0625366002, including grader's notes if available and a link to the latest full census report for the issue.*
