Scooby-Doo "Puncho" Publicity Cel and Related Material (Hanna-Barbera, 1977). The popularity of Scooby-Doo created an enormous franchise opportunity for Hanna-Barbera. Here is an original hand-inked cel of Scooby, created as a design for an inflatable toy "puncho" punching bag. It's probably one of several options presented to a toy manufacturer, and a photo included shows this piece is similar to, but not exactly the same, as the final design. A color photo copy of a group in a toy story shows the finished product's size, and a memo note from Coleco concerning the "squeaker nose" toy sent to Hanna-Barbera executive Iraj Paran is included. Cel is in Fine condition, with very minor handling wear.Auction Info
