Description

Building a Building Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1933). Steam shovel operator Mickey settles down to eat his fish hoagie lunch, but takes time to debone the fish with one swift move. Clever lad! Mickey will soon lose his sandwich to Foreman Pete, but Minnie Mouse (with a pushcart that amounts to an early version of a food truck) gifts Mickey with one of her 15-cent box lunches! Here's a great sequence of three original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of Mickey with his sandwich from Building a Building, which was first released to theaters on 1/17/33. You can see the beginning of the sequence around the 3:53 mark. The art is in graphite with red and yellow pencil highlights on the sandwich, with pages numbered 9, 30, and 45 in the lower right corner. Mickey's stands 3.5" tall. Age-related toning. Overall condition is Very Good.
