Gladys Parker Mopsy Daily Single-Panel Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-20-63 (Bell-McClure Syndicate, 1963) As flapper-turned-feminist Parker advanced through her 50s, her alter-ego character, Mopsy, only grew sexier and more controlling. Brilliant latter-day Art Deco/Art Nouveau technique, distinguished by some of this finest pen-line work. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 8.5" x 9.5".
