Description

Moose Hunters Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Goofy and Donald's lady-moose disguise goes hilariously awry in the animated classic Moose Hunters. This short, released to theaters on 2/20/37, features Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all tracking Moose through an alpine wilderness. The short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen and featured animation by Disney greats Art Babbit, Norm Ferguson, and Clyde Geronimi. This fantastic original drawing of Goofy can be seen at the 7:01 mark of the short in which Goofy and Donald climb opposite limbs of a tree, causing an elastic reaction in their shared disguise. Goofy is rendered in graphite on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper noted as number 35 in the lower right. Minor handling, edge wear, and mild age-related toning of paper. In Very Good condition.
