Edward Samuel Reynolds (as Tige) Is It Coming to This? Comic Strip Original Art (Ohio State Journal, c. 1920s). Edward Samuel Reynolds, alias Tige Reynolds, imagines the future of air travel in this lively cartoon. Reynolds, of The Portland Oregonian, also had a national following. His signature here contains his trademark "tiger face" image. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 18.25" x 21.5". Overall toning. Corner repair (lower right). Horizontal crease at middle.
