Description
Michael Silver "Well, of all people!" Painting Original Art (c. 1940s). This WAC seems a bit wacky for her Army man on this romantic war-time piece by Silver. The subtlety and softness of her features are truly staggering. This was a girl to write home about! Crafted in gouache over graphite on illustration board with an image area of approximately 18" x 13". Signed in the image area. There is glue residue on the margins from a previous mat and frame job. The image area is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
