Description
Mike Roy Nero Wolfe Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-13 (Columbia Features, 1957). The portly gourmand and armchair detective solves the crime, thanks to an orchid, in this well-drawn Sunday feature. Here's a strip in serious need of reprinting! The art is in ink and graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 27" x 18". The masthead panel is an original stat. There's a bit of light soiling and edge wear with a tear or two; the syndicate/date strip has fallen off, but we believe this to be from 1957. Very Good Plus condition.Auction Info
