Beany and Cecil - Beanyland Limited Edition Cel #40/500 (Bob Clampett Productions, 1986). Captain Huffenpuff, Beany Boy, and Cecil the Seasick Serpent appear on this wonderful hand-painted limited edition cel, with the low number of 40/500. The animated adventures of Beany and Cecil (based on the 1949 puppet show Time For Beany) appeared on ABC-TV from 1/6/62 until 6/28/69, attracting fans of all ages. On this limited edition cel, images measure 2", 3.25", and 7.5"; the sparkles behind Captain Huffenpuff are on a separate cel. The "Beanyland" background is a print, issued with the cel setup. A gold Bob Clampett seal is in the lower left. Matted with an opening size of 11.75" x 9.75"; overall mat size is 16.25" x 14.25". Fine condition.Auction Info
