Description
The Aristocats Lafayette with Edgar and Marie Production Cel Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1970). Two original production cels from The Aristocats are featured in this lot. First, Lafayette, the Basset Hound known for tripping over his own droopy ears, chases money-hungry butler Edgar Balthazar off his motorcycle, in this original hand-painted production cel setup. This is actually composed of a trimmed cel that has been repositioned on a 16 field 3-peghole sheet of acetate. The combined image area measures 9.5" x 10.5". Good condition. Also included is a single 16 field cel of white kitten Marie, looking a bit blue here; the full-figure image measures 3" x 3.5", and is in Fine condition.Auction Info
