Description
Bill Edwards - Men's Magazine Illustration Original Art (c. 1960s). Edwards' seductive nudes graced many a manly men's magazine during the midcentury -- a sure-fire selling point, although the artist seldom received a published byline. Here is one of Edwards' more striking images, designed for a double-page layout. Gouache over graphite on illustration board. Image area, 17" x 12". The text section (on a separate overlay sheet) has partially fallen away from the vellum. Excellent condition.Auction Info
