Description
Stan Freberg's Academy Awards Program (The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, 1957). Stan Freberg's copy of an original program for the 29th Annual Academy Awards Presentation, held on March 27, 1957 at the RKO Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. The awards were given out for films released in 1956, including The King and I, Giant, The Ten Commandments, Lust For Life, The Bad Seed, and many others. Jerry Lewis was Master of Ceremonies. Although Stan was not involved in any 1956 films, he was regularly featured on TV in 1956 (The NBC Comedy Hour, seven appearances as a comedian). The program's oversized cover measures 9" x 12", with a 12-page insert. Condition is Good, with handling and edge wear.Auction Info
