Description
Bone Bandit Pluto and Gopher Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1948). It's Pluto vs. the gopher in the epic battle for the bone in Walt Disney's Bone Bandit. In this scene, Pluto chases the wily gopher through its tunnels. The gopher makes several appearances in Disney shorts including Donald's Garden, Canine Caddy and Pluto and the Gopher. He is considered the harbinger of Chip and Dale, but with less personality. You can see this image around the 5:52 mark of this Charles Nichols-directed short. The overall image of both characters measures approximately 8" x 3". This drawing is rendered in graphite with blue and red penciling on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper with the number 50 written in the lower right corner. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
