Playboy #1, V3#1, and V4#1 Group (HMH Publishing, 1953-57). A copy of the premiere issue is the major highlight here. It's in GD condition, with five pieces of tape along the spine, but complete with the must-have Marilyn Monroe poster. The first issue also featured Monroe on the cover, a Big Band Jazz story on the Dorsey Brothers, "Introducing Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and renowned cartoonist Virgil Partch's "VIP On Sex". Also included are two early January issues, V3#1 in FN and V4#1 in VG from 1956 and 1957 respectively, with Playmate reviews of the previous year plus contributions by Ray Bradbury, Erskine Caldwell, and others.Auction Info
