Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse In Color - The Art of Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks Gold Plate Edition Hardcover Book #14/100 (Another Rainbow, 1988). Long sold-out book that's a must for any and all Mickey Mouse fans! This magnificent 17" x 13" 248-page handsome book is hand-signed by both Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986) and Carl Barks (1901-2000). Gottfredson drew Mickey's newspaper strip adventures for many years, while Barks drew the Mouse in one memorable story, "The Riddle of the Red Hat" from Four Color #79 (the story is reprinted here), as well as writing and animating a number of Mickey Mouse cartoons in the 1930s. As a special bonus, this edition includes an original animation-style color pencil drawing of Mickey by Carl Barks. The book includes a mylar dust jacket, and comes in its original shipping box.
