Description
Opposites Attract MC Skat Kat Animation Drawing Sequence of 38 (Virgin Records, 1989). "Nothing in common but this trust, I'm like a minus, she's like a plus. One going up, one coming down, but we seem to land on common ground." From the the celebrated Grammy Award-winning music video for the Paula Abdul pop hit "Opposites Attract", this is a substantial sequence of a whopping 38 original animation drawings featuring MC Skat Kat from the very first shot. Rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper, these drawings were created by Disney animators on their off time outside the studio between major projects. The animated sequences of the music video were directed by the great Chris Bailey. This fantastic collection of drawings features the animation of the character's tail and eyes, and MC Skat Kat's full face and upper half is featured in approximately 11 of the drawings. The drawings show minor handling and edge wear with some wrinkling from normal production use, and the condition overall is Very good.Auction Info
