Description

Mickey's Nightmare Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey finds himself with a house overrun with playfully destructive mice children when he dreams that he and Minnie are married, in this extremely funny outing. Burt Gillett was the director; the short was released to theaters on 8/13/32. In this pair of 12 field, 2-peghole animation drawings, one of the "Mickey Juniors" is about to take a hammer to Mickey's pocket watch. The first drawing, noted as #179 in the lower right corner, is seen in online viewings around the 04:10 mark. The second drawing is numbered 73 and shows Mickey rushing to stop the hammer. Artwork is in graphite, with some added color pencil highlights. Age-related paper toning with handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
