Bill Ward Popular Jokes August-1971 Single Panel Gag Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1971). A gorgeous and leggy "Ward girl" image! The punchline is "I must apologize, Mr. Smithers - I'm never ready when you call!" Notes on the back indicate it was printed in the 8-71 issue, although Marvel's Humorama division was quick to reprint a cartoon many times. So it is highly possible this saw print much earlier than 1971. Produced in mixed media on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 12", and then affixed to a larger 10.25" x 15" sheet of illustration board.
