Description

Michael Lynch Great Inventions Original Art (c. 1980s). A change of pace for Lynch, who is best known for his fanciful full-color reconstructions of art by Underground Comix pioneer Robert Crumb. This offbeat vignette depicts an unusual prosthetic device. The style suggests the influence of another famous Undergrounder, Robert Williams. Ink and charcoal over graphite on Bristol board, with ink-spatter shading. Image area, 6" x 9". Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
